COMPARE OUR TWO SINGLE-VINEYARD RIESLINGS

In 2014, we had the opportunity to experiment with our vines atop the escarpment. We trialled a new clone of Riesling just across
the road from noteworthy Nadja's Vineyard. We chose clone 239, native to Alsace and we're one of few wineries in Ontario growing it.
This sister vineyard is flourishing and we made the decision to bottle this beauty as a single-vineyard wine as well.

What's the difference?
2019 Nadja's Vineyard Riesling
Location: Southwest corner of the vineyard.
Clone: 21B, native of the Mosel River Valley in Germany.
Vine Age: 19 years, planted in 2001.
Flavours: Lime, orange blossom and peach on the nose with hints of wet stone. The stone fruit and citrus play together on the palate with a beautiful mineral backbone. It's opulent and complex with a fresh finish of acidity that dances on the tongue.

2019 E{NV}Y Nadja's Vineyard 2.0
Location: Southeast corner of the vineyard.
Clone: 239, native of the Alsace region in eastern France.
Vine Age: 6 years, planted in 2014.
Flavours: Limestone chalkiness and punchy green apple on the nose. It's also showing some understated waxy savoury characteristics. Lean in texture with racy acidity on the palate, like biting into a crisp apple, mouthwatering and fresh.
