2019 Late Harvest Gewürztraminer

On the east side of our drive way are ten rows of something very special, Gewürztraminer. In the autumn, you can distinctly see the pinkish-orange grapes and if you roll your window down, you can smell the intense exotic aromatics characteristic of the grape.
Tasting Notes
Gewürztraminer is one of those flexible grapes that can range from dry to very sweet. We typically make a drier style, but the 2019 season offered and opportunity to make a late harvested, sweeter style. these were the last grapes to come off our vineyard last year and the results are spectacular. Winemaker's Tasting Notes:Typical Gewürz aromatics dominate the nose while the palate is silky and moderately sweet. There is also a degree of rich, oily texture the grape variety is famous for. This wine is just sweet enough to drink as an aperitif and just dry enough to enjoy with food.Wine Profile
