Each year, the Riesling of Nadja’s Vineyard continues to earn awards and accolades for its elegance, style and intensity. It is not surprising that these qualities are shared by the vineyard’s namesake – Nadja Madronich.
NADJA’S VINEYARD
Shallow clay loam soils give way to exposed, fractured dolomitic limestone visible from the laneway when approaching the winery. Situated at 160-165m, the highest point in the vineyard along the southwest ridge of the escarpment. Cooler temperatures at this elevation result in extended ripening and the development of complex block specific characteristics.
