2013 Gravity Pinot Noir
Our Gravity bottling of Pinot Noir is designed to express the unmistakeable terroir of our Twenty Mile Bench single vineyard. A very high-quality crop of fruit in 2013 allowed our winemakers to choose the 'best of the best' barrels to craft this iconic wine.
Upon release in 2016, this was a tightly wound bombshell of a wine with above average acidity. We knew then that the vintage was built for the long haul and time has been kind to this wine. Years in the cellar has brought all the components into harmony, leaving us with a beautifully balanced, concentrated and complex Pinot Noir. There remains a powerful core of fruit, accented by a delicate herbal bouquet all framed perfectly by the subtle sweetness of French oak. The wine is in it’s happy place and ready to be enjoyed to its fullest potential.
