A MESSAGE FROM ED
Spring is an exciting time at Flat Rock Cellars and wineries in general. It is a time of rebirth and endless possibilities of what will end up in the bottle for the next vintage. I hope you will find time in your busy schedule to relax and help us bring in the Vintage 2013 Budburst. We are having our annual Open House this Saturday evening where we will celebrate you, our customers, our staff and our grapes; we have great expectations for the 2013 year!
We also have many other events happening at the winery and around wine country this spring. The Niagara New Vintage Festival happens mid-June. Purchase a Discovery Pass to get enjoy VQA wine and culinary pairings throughout the Festival.
I am releasing the third in my series of videos called Ed’s Take. Take Three – Ed’s Ranting Again is the new release. They are fun videos I shot (with a little Rick Mercer influence) about the joys and perils of being a wine lover. They are on the website so be sure to check them out.
If you want something a little unique to do with Dad and the kids this Father’s Day, register for our first annual Fishing Derby. Seriously, the fish practically jump out of the pond so we thought we’d share this with you for a little fun. We’ll BBQ hot dogs, give out prizes and we’ll send you home with a souvenir snapshot seeing as it is a catch and release derby!
