Winemaker Notes:

The Gravity bottling of Pinot Noir is designed to showcase the 'best of the best' in our vineyard and cellar. The 2012 growing season was very favourable to our Pinot Noir vines with just the right amount of heat, moisture and very low disease pressure (e.g. mildews). We achieved maximum maturity at harvest time and this bottling of 2012 Gravity is predominantly sourced from our 'West Summit' block of vines. The intensity of flavour & fresh acidity give the wine a backbone of strength with tonnes of elegance. A small percentage of new oak was used to ensure we highlight the fruit character in the wine. This is one of the most enjoyable wines to craft each year.
